HAVERSTRAW, NY, October 12, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charlotte Von Hein, President of C.G. Von Hein Realty Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in real estate.

As the president of C.G. Von Hein Realty Inc., Ms. Von Hein is responsible for managing two properties with six rental apartments, marketing vacant apartments, showing properties to potential tenants, preparing rental and lease agreements, defining price paid and penalties for late payments, collecting rent, tracking expenses and revenue, responding to tenant issues, and handling evictions and non-payment.

In 2006, two years after her mother's death, Ms. Von Hein took over the business with her brother Erich Von Hein. She attributes her success to her perseverance and to the mentorship she received from her mother, who, as an immigrant from Colombia, spoke little English, worked hard at several jobs over many years in order to purchase the properties and manage them. Ms. Van Hein feels that by running their business well, she and her brother Erich are honoring their mother's memory. She hopes to expand their business by adding more properties.

Ms. Von Hein has worked as a bilingual clerk for the Haverstraw King's Daughters Public Library for 30 years, translating and interpreting for patrons, and also as a circulation clerk. She immigrated to the United States from Colombia as a young girl with her two brothers and two sisters, following their mother, who had come to the U.S. earlier to work and make a better life for her family.
