A 13-year veteran of customer service, Mr. Mingo is the proprietor of Sip N Chat, Utica Best Buy Liquors, a restaurant, bar and liquor store. He is proud to be operating what has, since its establishment in 2002, become a popular hangout in his Brooklyn neighborhood. A former retail manager, Mr. Mingo parlays his enjoyment of socializing into a place where people can enjoy good food, drinks and live music. He attributes his success to his hard work and humility, and to the motivation that he receives from his wife, a doctor.

Mr. Mingo received his Bachelor's Degree in Electronics in 1992 from Technical Career Institutes, College of Technology. In his spare time, he volunteers with Community 45th District. His goals for the next five years include increasing his involvement in community activities, venturing into the entertainment industry, and opening a catering hall.
