Dr. Derrickson is a sole proprietor for Global Cash Flow Network. She previously worked as an English teacher at Kent State University for 10 years. She was responsible for teaching writing, presenting poetry and papers on Shakespeare's Ophelia, Yeats, Virginia Woolf, and the medieval Gawain poet. Dr. Derrickson has written and published literary articles on Henry James and Virginia Woolf. She has presented at such venues as Comitatus, The National Book of Poetry, The Philological Association of the Pacific Coast, and the Modern Language Association.
A member of the Philological Association of the Pacific Coast, and the Modern Language Association, Dr. Derrickson received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature in 1983, and her Master of Arts in Comparative Literature in 1974, from the University of California, Berkeley. In 1972, she received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Harvard University.
