Authors' Corner at the Edmonton Woman's Show

Family Productions Inc. is gearing up for this spring's Edmonton Woman's Show, taking place on April 8th and 9th at Northlands AgriCom in Edmonton, Alberta. This show features Authors' Corner, a group of talented Canadian authors who will be autographing their books.



    /24-7PressRelease/ - EDMONTON, AB, CANADA, April 09, 2006 - Family Productions Inc. is gearing up for this spring's Edmonton Woman's Show, taking place on April 8th and 9th at Northlands AgriCom in Edmonton, Alberta. More than 12,000 people (mostly women) are expected to check out exhibitors' products, entertainment, foods and Authors' Corner.

The Fall Show last October saw the first Authors' Row, which was organized by Augusta Reinich, assistant producer for the event, and Edmonton mystery author, Cheryl Kaye Tardif. This year's Authors' Corner, also organized by Tardif, will feature a total of eight local area authorsand#8213;Sue Paulson, Jackson Carter, Rosalie Rasmussen, Kelly Keehn, Jim Soliski, Harry and Marjorie Aim and Cheryl Kaye Tardifand#8213;who will be autographing and selling their books, just in time for Easter and Mother's Day.

• Sue Paulson is an inspirational speaker and award-winning author of Tips and Tools to Speak with Confidence: Keys to Finding Your Voice (book and CD-Rom) and Tips and Tools for Student Success: Keys for Higher Grades (book format only).
• Jackson Carter specializes in Canadian thrillers. His debut novel Sins in the Name of the Father, a frank novel about murder and suspense examines how far someone is willing to go to have their cause accepted by society. His latest novel, Bull, explores a fictional conspiracy theory involving the intentional infection of Canada's beef by the American government.
• Rosalie Rasmussen has a long history of writing songs, skits and stories through her participation in scouting. In 2000, she achieved a milestone with the publication of her first work The Way of The North. Rosalie's second book When Bad Things Happen demonstrates her versatility as an author and illustrator. In her third book Where in the House is Carmen's Cleopatra? Rosalie's broad range of style shines through.
• Kelly Keehn is the author of The Woman's Guide to Money and The Prosperity Factor. His life as an RCMP Constable and a judge is chronicled with great detail and illustrations. Marjorie's book Northern Memories describes the adventures of a young Canadian woman, who heads North from a small town in Manitoba alone. The year is 1941. Her adventures include sled dogs, the northern lights and the land of the midnight sun.
• Cheryl Kaye Tardif is the author of a terrifying new techno-thriller The River, a novel that has attracted readers of Michael Crichton (Timeline) and Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons). Tardif's other mystery novels include Divine Intervention, a psychic suspense that has been compared to Nora Roberts' (aka J.D. Robb) 'In Death' series, and Whale Song, an emotional mystery about lost memories and the search for the truth. Whale Song is being considered by a film producer.
