A skilled beautician, Estella Keys-Kawamoto has accumulated more than two decades of practiced expertise in her field. Now celebrating her second year as the owner of Heads Up Salon, located in the Pearl City Shopping Center in Hawaii, she excels in hairstyling, make-up application and waxing. She utilizes her management savvy to oversee salon operations including 17 employees, inventory, paperwork and financial tasks. Ms. Keys-Kawamoto is personally responsible for processing payroll and attending to clients. In an effort to stay up-to-date with the trends in her field, she attends continuing education classes, hair shows and seminars.

Ms. Keys-Kawamoto maintains that every professional has a special gift or talent to offer. Her gift is the ability to make positive changes in the lives of her clients by bringing out the best in them, not only through the application of make-up or a new hairstyle, but renewing in them a sense of self-esteem and confidence. A graduate of Texas A&I University, Ms. Keys-Kawamoto holds an associate of arts. She completed coursework in cosmetology at Trendsetters Beauty College and hold licensure as a cosmetologist. She also earned certifications in hair coloration and business management. Looking to the future, she intends to expand on the services offered by her salon and secure an even larger client base.
