NEOSHO, MO, December 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David L. Wells, MD, Diagnostic Radiologist FOR/OF SouthWest Radiology LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in magnetic resonance breast imaging.

As a diagnostic radiologist for SouthWest Radiology LLC, David L. Wells is responsible for overseeing the radiology department and supervising clinicians. Dr. Wells grew up in the West Indies. He originally wanted to be a transplant doctor, but gains complete satisfaction from working in the radiological department and staying updated regarding changes in the field of radiology. He is also a private pilot as well as a sailor. He became involved in his profession after recovering from an injury and being encouraged by an acquaintance to pursue radiology. He attributes his success to his knowledge, hard work, interest in mathematics, science and physics, and the support he received from his father, who was a mathematics teacher.

Dr. Wells received his MD from Meharry Medical College in 1996. He is also a board-certified radiologist and a member of the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America, Inc.
