Ms. Giantasio ventured into the construction field in 2006, inspired by her father and husband, who had already built their careers there. Known especially for her administrative skills, she lends her talents to Certified Site Safety, a construction site safety management company that offers construction site safety inspections, safety plans, OSHA compliance courses and scaffolding training. As the CEO, she is responsible for managing the day to day operations and management of the firm, doing field work to ensure that inspectors have access to all requirements, and ensuring that sites are in compliance with regulations set by New York City and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Ms. Giantasio takes pride in having carved a place for herself in a male-dominated industry. She attributes her success to her knowledge, drive, and passion for her profession.

She has obtained Certification as a Woman Based Enterprise (WBE) by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and completed other industry-related training. Ms. Gianatasio received a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Hotel Management in 1996 from the New York Institute of Technology. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her children, aged 8, 6 and 3. She looks forward to expanding her company further in the coming years to provide safety supplies for the construction industry.
