Good By To 2009

    SCOTTSDALE, AZ, January 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For me I am happy to see 2009 go. I am sure I am like most people happy to see it go. Business wise it was the worst year I have seen in many many years, I lease commercial vehicles, ie moving vans, long haul trailers, tow trucks and things of that nature, and not many companies leased new vehicles. The companies that were able to get thru the year did not do much leasing of equipment. I have been in this industry for 20 years.

I cant tell you how many went out of business, but there were alot. For those who survived more power to you and I hope that 2010 will begin to show an up swing that is very much needed.

I would like to share a story with you. My nephew just finished his PHD and we attended the graduation ceremony. The dean of the school congratulated all the students from both undergrad schools as well as grad schools. He commended the students who had to work as well to keep up their studies. He also praised the students who gave of their time while keeping up with their grades as well. He also told all the grads that looking for a job in thier field of expertise will be very difficult, but not to give up and stay positive.

Something that he said that I found very interesting was that , we were going to need many entrepreneurs to start business because of all the companies that could not make it thru these rough times.

With all the hard work that these kids have put in to get were they are either graduating from undergrad or grad schools that was not what they wanted to hear, I think that was a great statement. Sure they all want get positions in major corporations and work their way up, but if they choose the entrepreneur route that could work in their favor if they do it correctly.

Don't be afraid to put all the knowledge that you have acquired over the past years to work for yourself.

No matter which route you may choose, good luck.

Do something good today for someone in the knowing they can never repay you, and watch the world change one person at a time.
