Douglas M. Jones has 26 years of experience as an attorney. He is responsible for litigating workers' compensation, social security, wrongful death and product liability cases, and supervising six support employees and one attorney. He became involved in his profession because of the encouragement he received from Senator John E. East as a professor at East Carolina University. He attributes his success to his work ethic.

Mr. Jones received his JD from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 1983. He is a licensed attorney in the state of North Carolina and a member of the Federal Bar-Eastern District of North Carolina, the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, LLC. Doug served as a Navy JAG (attorney) from 1983-1987.
