EDINA, MN, January 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James A. Markfort, Jr., Sr. Business Systems Analyst / Project Lead at Zimmer Spine, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business systems analysis.

As a Sr. Business Systems Analyst / Project Lead at Zimmer Spine, Mr. Markfort excels in project management, organizational integrations / migrations, application development / deployment, and business process streamlining due to new and expanding business development and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Zimmer Spine, Mr. Markfort held the position of Business Systems Analyst II with LSG Sky Chefs, a catering subdivision of Lufthansa Airlines. While at LSG, Mr. Markfort analyzed processes, functions, and procedures to determine the most cost effective business systems processes, infrastructure, and applications to meet the needs of the organization. He also established and designed system panel specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost effectiveness, and provided recommendations to management personnel.

Mr. Markfort earned an Associate of Applied Science in Information Management Systems from NEI College of Technology (2002). He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University (2008) and is currently pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management (June, 2010). Mr. Markfort is also a Certified Microsoft SQL Server Engineer (not currently active).

In July, Mr. Markfort will be sitting for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Exam. His goal is to become a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by 2011.
