Kennington And Blanket Bay's Unrefined Beauty Rounds Out Bentley Prince Street's New Wool Collection

Products are Crafted from Wool and Ideal for Residential & Hospitality Markets

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA, January 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bentley Prince Street, an industry leader in product design and stylish broadloom and carpet tile products, continues to diversify its perspective with the launch of two new broadloom products. Kennington(TM) and Blanket Bay(TM) are both available in four natural shades inspired by the pure elements of sugar and salt. Both styles are made from European wool that has been stock blended, a process that unifies the slightly varied colors and characteristics of raw wool to ensure an aesthetic that is rustic, yet elegant. Their rich and plush textures lend themselves to high-end suites and boutique hospitality markets.

Bentley Prince Street is committed to eliminating any negative impact the company has on the environment by the year 2020 and is using yarn content made from renewable resources to move them closer towards that goal. Wool is a long lasting, biodegradable, natural fiber, making Kennington and Blanket Bay environmentally friendly choices that contribute to LEED credits.

"Our team brought out wool's best qualities of beauty and strength in Kennington and Blanket Bay," said Anthony Minite, president/CEO of Bentley Prince Street. "Both styles can be installed to add texture and dimension to a space while providing simplistic beauty for years to come."

"We set out to design two price sensitive pieces to complete our wool collection," said Valerie Ottaviano, vice president of design, "By stock blending our wool and using rock salt and sugar as our inspiration, we achieved a consistent look and feel that epitomizes the natural aesthetic."

With the launch of Kennington and Blanket Bay, Bentley Prince Street continues to assert their role as innovators in product design by challenging the conventional wool woven aesthetic and taking advantage of the best nature and man has to offer. Wool is naturally fire resistant, soil and stain resistant, as well as, renewable and beautiful. Both styles come standard with Action-Bac(R) and are made from stock blended wool allowing for even color and texture. Kennington and Blanket Bay are high quality, price sensitive styles that add a touch of natural luxury to Bentley Prince Street's wool collection.
