ORLANDO, FL, February 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Milagros 'Millie' Rivera, Principal in Orange County Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education administration.

As the principal in Orange County Public Schools, Mrs. Rivera specializes in special education and English as a Second Language. She is responsible for managing the operations of a bilingual title one school with 730 students and overseeing English as a second language classes. She had always wanted to become an educator, and she attributes her success to her hard work and ambition.

Mrs. Rivera is pursuing her Ed.D. at the University of Central Florida, having already completed coursework in special education at the University of Texas and in educational leadership at Tarelton State University. She is a member of the American Association of School Administrators, the Council for Exceptional Children and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. In the future, she intends to attain a district level position or do staff development training on a nationwide level.
