In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Grauer is an associate professor in the department of orthopaedics and rehabilitation at Yale University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital and a fellowship in spine surgery at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Tufts University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
