ASTON, PA, March 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Blanche M. Lenard, Registered Nurse, Certified Infection Preventionist for Blanche Lenard Consulting, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare consultation.

Specializing in infection control, Ms. Lenard has 33 years of experience in her field. She established Blanche Lenard Consulting, LLC in 2007. In her position, she is responsible for offering consultation services to nursing homes, hospices, clinical laboratories and life-care communities. Ms. Lenard is directly involved in infection control activities for 23 long-term care facilities, three vent units and two sub-contractors. She attributes her success to her good fortune, knowledge of the field and the support she received from her mentors.

A registered nurse, Ms. Lenard received a Diploma in Nursing from the Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing in 1970 and attended the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention training program in Epidemiology and Hospital Infection Control in 1977. She has been Board Certified in Infection Control and Prevention since 1988.

She volunteers her time and financial support to the Covenant House in New York City and the Spayed and Neuter Club in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. In the future, Ms. Lenard hopes to lend her time to other similar programs.
