Join Ocean Village for the Much Anticipated Farewell Sailing

This autumn will mark the end of an era as Ocean Village, Britain's best-loved casual cruise line, sails into the sunset.

BRIGHTON, ENGLAND, March 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- There are two different options for Ocean Village's farewell sailing. Fly from the UK to Crete on 21 October and set sail for Singapore on the 23 night 'Fond Farewell' holiday or fly to Crete a week earlier and enjoy 7 nights on this Mediterranean cruise deal on our 'Grove and Gondolas' itinerary before heading for the Suez Canal, India and Singapore on our 'The Big Goodbye' 30 night adventure. Fancy staying in Singapore at the end of the cruise? These mediterranean cruises have the option of 1, 2 or 3 night stays in a 4* Singapore hotel, so you'll have time to explore more of the city.

Boring but important
Please note that a tourist Visa for India MUST be purchased by every passenger for the call at Cochin, whether you will be going ashore on an Ocean Village Action Ashore tour, exploring independently or remaining on board the cruise ship. Visas must be obtained in advance and cannot be obtained on board. Failure to obtain a Tourist Visa for India prior to your Mediterranean cruise holiday will result in you being denied access to the ship at the start of your holiday. Further visa info including application details and costs will be sent out three months prior to sailing. A valid passport is required for this holiday and your passport must have at least six months validity after your return home.

Flights
Outbound flights to Crete are available from Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. All inbound flights back to the UK from Singapore return to London Heathrow only. Connecting flights to Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow will automatically be added for passengers departing from these airports at an additional cost of GBP99pp (please specify at time of booking if you do not want these flights). For passengers flying from Gatwick or Birmingham, flights return to London Heathrow only and passengers will need to make their own travel arrangements from this point. Please call 0845 358 5000 for details.

Whether you're flying straight back from the ship at the end of the cruise travel on Saturday 13 November or extending your visit with a one, two or three night hotel stay in Singapore, why not travel back to London Heathrow in style with a flight upgrade?

Both British Airways and Qantas Airways offer great value prices, and three tempting upgrade options for the one way flight:
- British Airways World Traveller Plus or Qantas Airways Premium Economy from GBP449 per person
- British Airways Club World or Qantas Airways Business Class from GBP1,019 per person
- British Airways or Qantas Airways First Class from GBP2,219 per person

Seats on these long-haul flights will sell quickly, so do ask your travel agent or our reservations staff to secure your upgrade at the time of booking. For passengers making independent hotel and transfer arrangements in Singapore, we are happy to arrange return economy or upgraded flights to match revised travel dates, subject to availability.

This one's for grown-ups
These farewell sailing cruises are adults only and there are no kids facilities on board (Base Camp will be closed from 21 October) and children's prices will not be available.
