With 10 years of experience in patient care, Dr. Christopher Kwoh is a respected specialist in kidney function and disease. He enjoys a diversified career as a medical practitioner and researcher with two organizations: Nephrology, Dialysis & Transplantation Associates, a nephrology practice, and Renal Research, Inc., a medical research center. He focuses his work on dialysis, kidney transplantation with a special interest in diabetic kidney disease and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis.

An accomplished research scientist, Dr. Kwoh published his papers in Annual Reviews of Pathology: Mechanisms of Disease and The Journal of Biological Chemistry. He was selected as an author for the Renal Diseases chapter of the 32nd "Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics" in 2005 and was honored with the Knowlton Incentive for Excellence Award for exceptional clinical skills and patient care in 2004. Dr. Kwoh completed his fellowship in nephrology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis in 2006 and his residency in internal medicine in 2003. He is board certified in Nephrology and Hypertension by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a permanent license from the Texas State Medical Board. Dr. Kwoh's professional affiliations include the American Society of Nephrology, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and Alpha Omega Alpha.

In five years, Dr. Kwoh hopes to expand his practice by adding more medical staff and nurses, and to conduct more in-depth research.
