Motiso Group Takes Innovative Avenue to Social Responsibility

Small firm Motiso Group created an innovative birthday benefit for the owner and president to support two Virginia non-profits. The consulting firm's mission is motivating organizations to accomplish the right motives and embrace responsibility.

FAIRFAX, VA, April 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gail A. Brown, owner and president of Motiso Group, celebrated a monumental birthday with a benefit to support the mission of non-profit organizations in Virginia on April 16, 2010.

As an extension of Brown's passion for supporting business and social development, the Grand Atrium Tysons Corner Virginia was host to mostly executives from large, medium-sized, and small organizations; in private, public, and non-profit sectors. Over 80 guests assembled to celebrate and support Bethany House of Alexandria VA, and Vision of Faith Bible College of Roanoke VA - Brown's hometown.

In lieu of birthday gifts, guests made donations to the non-profits. A silent and open auction elicited more monetary donations. Auction donors included Silpada jewelry, Tocar Spa massage, Stith Studio personal training, Ricardo's Catering in-home dining, By Gina G jewelry, and other individual donors.

"This was an event purposed to celebrate one of life's special events by embracing organizations that help others to be their best. Our non-profit community struggles with low donations in the current economy, so every donation, big or small, helps to keep them driving toward their missions," said Brown.
