Built in the USA AutoCrib signs with The Wittern Group for Helix Chassis

"The new unit has all the essential basic and custom features our users have come to expect, plus some extras that make it easier to build and service. And Wittern's service arm, known as VendNet, provides us everything we need in the way of parts, accessories and service."

The RDS or Helix machine is the basic point-of-use system in the AutoCrib product line-up. It offers immediate, secure access to cutting tools and high-use supplies 24/7. RDS speaks four languages, and can locate items in other machines or cribs within the AutoCrib system. RDS can also force the use of regrinds.

With the new RDS chassis there is no change in price, but there are some differences and new features to be aware of:

* Helix now turns counter clockwise, not clockwise like AP and Rowe models
