Breakdown Services' President and His New Product, Eco-Cast, Help Raise the Odds on the Las Vegas Entertainment Industry

Breakdown Services' Gary Marsh addresses Sin City's entertainment power players.

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Last weekend Gary Marsh, President of Breakdown Services, addressed a meeting of the Nevada Coalition of Talent Agents (NCTA) to introduce them to the future of casting talent in Las Vegas. Marsh was armed with forty years of experience and Eco-Cast, the first virtual pre-read system as well as the company's newest breakthrough in casting technology.

Breakdown Services' Eco-Cast will be an invaluable tool for Nevada's actors and agents by bringing them to Hollywood virtually. Using Eco-Cast, agents can receive invites from casting directors anywhere in the world to forward to their clients. The actors can now audition for roles in movies, TV shows and commercials at their homes or agent's offices in Las Vegas. By not having to drive or fly to auditions, they will save gas and money. It will also mean actors in Las Vegas will be considered for many more roles that they weren't before. A casting director out of Texas can now audition possible actors in Las Vegas from their home instead of having to travel to them.

It was also announced at the NCTA meeting that as of August 1, 2010, Nevada will make a historic change to the way talent agencies operate in Nevada. The area's top agencies will be joining together to make each of their respective agencies exclusive to the actor. With this transition each actor is registered with a single agent instead of the current system where actors can be registered with a number of agents. The NCTA hopes that this change will attract more Hollywood casting directors to hire local talent. In the recent past, many casting directors have shied away from Nevada due to lack of organization and in-fighting amongst the agents.

Marsh gave an interactive computer demonstration on how Breakdown Services works in Los Angeles, and how Las Vegas will soon be accepting projects both locally and nationally. The Las Vegas Breakdowns will be offered at no cost to either the agencies or the actors, bringing the city into the 21st century of the entertainment industry.
