Lincoln University, PA, May 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Michael B. Hill, Executive Vice President of Lincoln University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in educational administration.

Michael B. Hill has over 30 years of leadership experience in the advancement of educational, artistic, cultural and human service organizations and has seen success on three $150 million comprehensive campaigns. Over the last 15 years, his work has encompassed an expanded portfolio of responsibilities. He is a self-starter who takes pride in the development of human capital and the achievement of organizational goals.

In his role as Executive Vice President of Lincoln University, Mr. Hill is responsible for providing financial support for the university's operational and support services as well as managerial oversight and leadership for the following university-wide areas: Advancement; Institutional Effectiveness; Human Resources; Information Technology; Admissions; Physical Plant; Communications and Public Relations; Sponsored Programs; Continuing Education; Federal, State, and Community Relations; Registrar; Career Services; Special Events; Mail and Copy Center. Mr. Hill also provides managerial oversight of the satellite Center for Graduate Studies, serves as the liaison for the Board of Trustees' Planning and Development Committee and the Trustees, Degrees, and Nominations Committee; maintains a major gifts portfolio and works closely with the President and Board of Trustees on all aspects of fundraising and marketing. Mr. Hill previously served as Vice President, Development and External Relations of Lincoln University from 1/2001 to 1/2010.

From 1996 to 2001, he held the position of Senior Vice President for University Advancement of Tuskegee University, where his many tasks included providing managerial oversight and leadership for the following university-wide areas: Development and Alumni Affairs; Sponsored Programs and Research; Marketing and Communications; Federal, State and Community Relations; International Programs; and Career Development and Placement Services. He also served as Assistant Vice President for Development Operations at Temple University from 1994 to 1996 and Director, Corporate Relations at Temple University from 1991 to 1994.

Michael B. Hill's other previous positions include: Director, Financial Development of the Urban League of Philadelphia (1987 to 1991); Assistant Executive Director (1986 to 1987) and Director of Development (1984 to 1986) of the Afro-American Historical and Cultural Museum in Philadelphia, PA; Development Director of Philadelphia's Freedom Theatre (1981 to 1984); and Director, Upward Bound and Special Services of Drexel University (1977 to 1981).

Mr. Hill is a candidate for the Doctor of Management, Organizational Leadership, ABD program at the University of Phoenix. He holds a Master of Science in Human Services Management from Drexel University earned in 1983, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University earned in 1976
