He has rooted his twenty four years of professional experience in the personal traits of determination and perseverance to which Mr. Mahinay attributes his success in every undertaking. As President of Assure Home Healthcare, Inc., he ensures delivery of quality health services to patients in their homes while guiding the management of the organization to achieve its vision, mission and goals. He became involved in the healthcare industry because of his personal experience with his grandmother who had Alzheimer's. He has been married to his wife Maria Theresa since 1997 and they have one son, Lance Dylan.

Mr. Mahinay received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos, Philippines while working his way through college. He is the fifth of eleven brothers and sisters of Constancio C. Mahinay Sr., a lawyer and Celia R. Mahinay, Ph.D, then Dean of Arts and Sciences of the Recoletos University. Right after graduation, he joined the pharmaceutical sales industry and rose through the ranks to climb the corporate ladder. He has traveled through countries in Asia and the U.S because of his work. His exposure to the pharmaceutical industry sowed the seed of interest that grew into a commitment to help people with illnesses.

He migrated to the U.S. in 1998 to join his wife who is a Registered Nurse. He started his work career in the U.S. as an Expense Manager for Allstate Insurance in Northbrook, Illinois, and later joined the Royal Bank of Canada as a licensed Mortgage Broker.

During his visits to the nursing facilities where his wife was working, he began to feel the calling to provide better care to the ever increasing aging population in the comfort of their homes. Hence, in 2003, after he completed graduate studies at Lake Forest Graduate School, he decided to establish Assure Home Healthcare, Inc. and has since grown the organization into its present robust state, employing a staff of approximately one hundred workers and contractors in two office locations; it provides care to patients and families in six counties in the state of Illinois.

For three successive years, Assure Home Healthcare, Inc. has been consistently given the distinctive award as one of the top home health agencies in the entire United States by OCS (Outcome Concept System, Inc.), for Quality Outcome, Quality Improvement and Financial Performance.
