Last Christmas, the Tampa Salon generously donated $20 gift cards to all of the women and children staying at the shelter, and generously donated $1,000.00 worth of Aveda make-up to lift their spirits.

The Salon also generously donated an Aveda Gift basket valued at $450 for the Make a Wish Foundation Central and Northern Florida Chapter, for silent auction; the event was a huge success. This took place at the Sun coast Region Event which was held on March 9, 2010 (www.makeawish.org).

Nearly 4,000 runners and walkers crossed the finish line to help fight cancer at the Fifth Annual Florida Bank Miles for Moffitt at the University of South Florida.

Hundreds of participants signed the "Letter to Cancer" banner, putting all the diseases known as "cancer" on notice that Moffitt is Tampa's answer to the end of cancer. Balance Salon and Spa and CCC's Printing Company partnered with Miles for Moffitt in 2009 and 2010; providing a total of 6,000 FREE $20 gift cards to all of their registered participants.
