With 22 years of professional experience, Ms. Hoover specializes in customer service. She is responsible for overseeing resort operations, advertising, conducting children's games, ensuring customer service, managing financial operations and performing human resource functions. She also owns Drummond Island Outdoor Toys, Inc. and Drummond Island RV Park.

Ms. Hoover completed college coursework and is a certified flight attendant, and EMT and CPR instructor. She is a member of the Drummond Island Tourism Association and a former member of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce. She became involved in her profession after retiring as a flight attendant, and she attributes her success to her hard work, upbringing, customer service skills and faith in God. She also wrote a book titled "You vs. the Airlines" which was published in 2000. In the future, she intends to expand the overall service and increase the number of cottages.
