Her responsibilities include managing a team of five corporate site training managers in various locations and one senior manager of learning solutions, consulting with team members and managers, and mentoring. Widely respected in her field, Mrs. Furbur regularly embarks on motivational speaking engagements for various companies and has done external consulting for LeHigh Valley Hospital & Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems. She is currently working towards receiving an Executive Certificate through Cornell University. She is a member of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals and a former member of the board of directors of the American Society for Training & Development.
