Three 42-52 MPG Road Legal Utility Models Now Available from RSM & Associates Co.

RSM & Associates Co. (Gung Ho Trucks) of Jackson, Michigan announces the availability of three Suzuki branded road legal, low speed vehicles, jointly made in Japan and the U.S.

JACKSON, MI, June 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- These three vehicles are imported from Japan to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) for Low Speed vehicles (LSV). These standards, called Part 500, of the FMVSS allow use on all roads nationwide where the posted speed limit is 35 or less. They are fuel injected and gas powered.

The vehicles look similar to electric vehicles sold under various names. Some of the major differences between these and the electrics is the fact that these vehicles perform the same in the blistering heat or freezing cold. They do not go slower when they have a heavy load, the operating cost is less, and the initial cost is substantially lower than the electric counterpart. In addition, the operating range on any of these vehicles is about 400 miles.

These custom produced high quality Suzuki utility vehicles are powerful, practical and incredibly efficient. They consume less than a pint of fuel an hour at idle speed and achieve between 42 and 52 miles per gallon in city driving. They have the same onboard diagnostic modules used in full sized cars.

They are available in 2WD or 4WD and either an automatic or manual 5-speed transmission. Standard equipment includes speedometer/odometer, turn signals, safety glass, seatbelts, emergency flashers, power steering, back-up light, horn, spare tire and jack. Air conditioning is also available.

The first utility vehicle is a two passenger pick-up called the Super Stalker LS. This truck routinely achieves 42 miles per gallon and can move a half ton of materials. This versatile truck can be used for almost any purpose and has bed options to meet almost any need. One such option is called a scissor lift. This operates as a dump box when in the lowered position, but the bed can be raised horizontally to form a work platform. Some Stalker accessories include, ladder racks, work lights, tracks, safety beacon, or a snow plow.

One of the handy features many find important is the fact that the truck beds have fold down sides for easy loading and unloading. The bed size of 80 inches long and 55 inches wide is nearly twice the standard size of any other utility vehicle.

The second vehicle is called the Mail-Mate delivery van. This small four passenger van gets 52 MPG and has 44.5 CU feet of inside cargo capacity from the back of the front seat to the lift gate. It is built on the same size chassis as the sister Stalker vehicle but the ride is softer and it has a smaller payload. It is the ultimate light duty delivery vehicle. It would be perfect for a mail route or pizza delivery, meals-on-wheels, mall security, or city errand services.
The third utility vehicle is called the Shuttle. It is a four passenger, 5 door, micro-van that gets 50 MPG, and boasts about 80 CU feet of cargo area with the rear seat folding flat into the floor. This area gives ample room to haul most anything. The ride is the softest of the three and options include a rear defroster, tinted/electric windows, power locks, remote start and a rear wiper.

The three vehicles have standard heating systems, dash clusters, suspensions, drive-trains and ergonomics for driver comfort. Servicing requirements are similar to any other vehicle. Just change the oil and air filters as scheduled. There is no other maintenance required until 60,000 miles.

Emissions of these vehicles are one-eighth the legal limit in their class. They will typically save between 800 and 1200 gallons of fuel annually when compared to a similarly equipped Ford Ranger pick-up truck. In addition, these utility trucks have gone through EPA certification, and they are approved as low speed vehicles in all 50 states.
RSM and Associates sells these utility vehicles to buyers seeking an enclosed cab, heater/air conditioning, cold/hot weather dependability, power steering and a hefty payload capacity. If you have workers that need highly efficient vehicles that can keep them cool or warm you may want to consider the Super Stalker, Mail-Mate, or Shuttle utility vehicles. Bottom-line. Property owners, universities, municipalities, park services and others are finding these utility vehicles to be the best overall new utility vehicle to land in the U.S. ever.

RSM & Associates is the only company EPA approved to import new Suzuki trucks from Japan.
