Homeaid Names Pardee Homes Marketing VP Joyce Mason President Of LA/Ventura Chapter Board of Directors, as she Continues her 10-Year Tenure with HomeAid Board

Mason aims for new initiatives to strengthen this national non-profit's shelter development on behalf of today's homeless population.



    SANTA BARBARA, CA, June 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Board of Directors for HomeAid's Los Angeles/Ventura chapter has chosen Pardee Homes Vice President of Marketing Joyce Mason as its new president. Her expanded role continues a 10-year tenure with the Board of Directors; her fellow officers are VP Arlen Miller of Miller Family Companies; Secretary Dave Elder of T.O. Printing; and Treasurer Minda Johnstone of The Private Bank of California. Jennie Cowart is the Board's Executive Director.

HomeAid Los Angeles Ventura's Board has 14 officers and directors. Directors are Lorraine Alderette of LL Development Partners in Valley Village; David Goldberg of Focus Marketing Services in Agoura Hills; Leslie Lindemann of the Los Angeles Times in Los Angeles; Joe Lynch of JTL Development in Westlake Village; Neil McAuliffe of McAuliffe Financial Services Inc. in Westlake Village; Erik Pfahler of Shapell Homes in Beverly Hills; Holly Schroeder of the BIA in Santa Clarita; Sandra Stewart, Esq. of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP; and Tom Weston of Weston Mason in Santa Monica.

Mason has been active with HomeAid's national and regional organizations since their 1994 inception, with service as chair, special advisor and co-chair of LA/Ventura Project Playhouse, the organization's principal fundraiser. She credited co-workers at Pardee Homes for additional contributions to HomeAid's ongoing success.

Pardee Homes' steadfast support for HomeAid has included monetary and in-kind donations and volunteer labor. These contributions have benefited HomeAid National and chapter organizations in Los Angeles/Ventura, the Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego, Northern California and Las Vegas.
