Realityworks, Inc. Products to be Highlighted at 2010 Texas Career Education Conference

Event is an opportunity for educators to get hands-on experience with firm's simulation technology.

EAU CLAIRE, WI, July 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Realityworks, Inc., the leader in education simulation technology, will have a number of its products and programs showcased at the Texas Career Education Conference (TCEC) July 13-15 in booth 606-608 at the Sheraton Dallas in Dallas Texas.

The TCEC is expected to bring together over 2,000 educators involved with Career and Technical Education, including Career and Technical Administrators and teachers in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences and Finance.

Featured at the conference will be Realityworks' new Business Education Simulations - designed for high school and post secondary students to help them apply key business concepts taught in class. The Business Education Simulations provide an online game experience, and tests students' knowledge of business concepts such as starting up or running the daily operations of a business. In addition, the firm's TimeMAPS Money Management and Life Skills Program for teaching personal finance will be available with its complete curriculum for educators to examine.

Realityworks' RealCare programs will also be presented at the conference including infant simulators used to educate students about Shaken Baby Syndrome, Prenatal Drug Exposure, and Prenatal Alcohol Exposure - as well as simulators for teaching CPR, infant choking procedures and caring for babies with Special Needs.

"Unlike textbooks, Realityworks technology allows educators to see and feel the difference that hands-on simulation can make in the classroom," says Timmothy Boettcher, president of Realityworks, Inc. "This is a great opportunity for educators from all over the state of Texas to see how interactive programs impact the lives and futures of their students."

Realityworks will host a 45-minute session during the TCEC conference on personal financial literacy and business education. "Using Simulations to Teach Personal Finance and Business Education" will be held from 10:30 am - 11:15 am on Tuesday, July 13 in State Room 3 of the Sheraton Dallas.
