BRIDGEWATER, NJ, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nora Poliakoff, Retired Vice President of Sanofi-Aventis, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in compliance management.

Prior to her retirement as the Vice President of Sanofi-Aventis, a position she held for 15 years, Nora Poliakoff was responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an effective quality management system for industrial activities in the United States, managing compliance with the United States Industrial Quality Policy, and Food and Drug Administration requirements, consulting on Food and Drug Administration Issues, and reporting to the corporate offices in France and the United States. Prior to joining Sanofi-Aventis, Ms. Poliakoff was the Senior Director of Quality for American Home Products Whitehall Division from 1991-1995. She became involved in her profession because of her educational background, and she attributes her success to her ability to understand regulatory agencies.

Ms. Poliakoff completed coursework at Yale University in 1967, having received her Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1962. She is a member of the Committee on Attorney Advertising for the New Jersey Supreme Court.
