Sabre Communications Corporation Awarded Subcontract for Performance Under the U.S. Army's Rapid Response 3rd Generation (R2-3G) Program

Sabre Communications Corporation has been awarded a subcontract for performance under the U.S. Army's R2-3G program. This is a 5 year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to provide support to the DOD and other government agencies.



    SIOUX CITY, IA, September 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sabre Communications Corporation announced today that they have been awarded a subcontract for performance under the U.S. Army's Rapid Response, 3rd Generation (R2-3G) program. This is a 5-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract by the Army. The U.S. Army's Communication Electronic Command (CECOM) at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey, is the prime contract procurement agency.

The prime R2-3G contract will provide support to the Department of Defense (DOD) and other Federal, state and local government agencies in the areas of technology insertion, system integration/installation, fabrication/prototyping, testing/certification, studies/analyses, logistic support services, and training and engineering support services, including re-engineering and reverse engineering for a range of equipment and services. R2-3G is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract awarded by the Army's Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command. The office specializes in command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support and is known as C4ISR. The multiple-award prime contract has a total ceiling value of $16.4B over the life of the program.
