For the past 52 years, H. Renton Laidlaw has been a trusted voice in the United Kingdom's golf broadcasting arena. He currently lends his talents to the Golf Channel where he is primarily responsible for commenting on PGA tournaments around the world. Over the course of his extensive career, Mr. Laidlaw has penned 12 books including the annual "R&A Golfer's Handbook," "The European Open Golf Championship: The First Ten Years" and "Captain at Kiawah."

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his field, Mr. Laidlaw was honored with the Jack Nicklaus Memorial Award as well as the Lifetime Journalist Achievement Award by the PGA of America.
