Washington, DC, October 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Katafa Hall-Reed, a consultant with Troppus Legal Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in consulting and legal services.
For the past three years, Katafa Hall-Reed has been consulting on various legal matters, drafting complaints and pleadings, managing cases, and interviewing clients for Troppus Legal Services. She has worked with many large firms, such as Jones Day, aiding in litigation, case file preparation, research and document reviews. She has served as a paralegal for the Ohio Aerospace Institute and Progressive Casualty Insurance Company. At Toledo Public Schools, Ms. Hall-Reed worked as a home and special education instructor. Additionally, she was a regional sales coordinator for Lancome and an account coordinator for Erno Laszlo.
Ms. Hall-Reed received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University (1996), and a Post-Baccalaureate in Legal Studies from The University of Toledo (2005-2006). In 2005-2006, she completed coursework in Political Science at Case Western Reserve University. Ms. Hall-Reed interned with the City of Cleveland's Department of Law, served as Editorial Coordinator for National Paralegal Reporter (2007-2008), served as Director of Professional Development of the Cleveland Association of Paralegals (2007-2008), served on the 3Rs Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's Women in Law Section, and the Corporate Law Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association. Ms. Hall-Reed is a member of the Federal Bar Association. She participated in a mock trial arranged by Eastern Michigan University, and sits on the Board of Directors, and serves as Council Placement Adviser of the Junior League of Cleveland. She attributes her success to her dedication, hard work and passion for learning. Looking ahead, she intends to expand her consulting business, continue her education, and grow in her profession.
