Dutchess County Travel Guide Gets Set to Help Tourists and Businesses Again

Dutchess County's tourism marketing group in cooperation with Luminary Publishing once again publishes popular visitors resource which offers showcase for businesses. Kickoff party scheduled for Wednesday, November 10th.



    POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, October 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dutchess County Tourism will team up again with Luminary Publishing, Inc. to publish the Dutchess County Travel Guide an excellent resource for visitors of scenic Dutchess County in the New York's Hudson Valley. Showcasing the county's beauty, historical landmarks and establishments, the guide is a popular reference for tourists. The award-winning travel guide is also an effective advertising medium for tourism related businesses in Dutchess County. In conjunction with its publication an Invitational Mixer kickoff party will be held at the Samuel Morse Historic Site, 2683 Route 9 in Poughkeepsie, NY on Wednesday November 10th.

The Travel Guide is intended as a powerful tool for businesses located in Dutchess County to increase awareness of their goods and services. Last year's guide, was seen by tourists to Dutchess County as a must-have resource. Inclusion in the guide drove more people to local businesses and boosted sales.

The Invitational Mixer kickoff party for the publication of Dutchess County Tourism Travel Guide is a free event but RSVP is necessary. There will be cocktails, finger foods as well as live music from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The evening includes a special business presentation from online marketing expert and coach, Doug Motel entitled "Facebook Tips for Tourism Marketing".
