Sami Asad Mir has seven years of experience in the legal field, with the past four years spent as senior associate for Allen & Overy LLP. He is responsible for representing developers and financiers, including multilateral financial agencies, export credit agencies, and state and municipal departments of transportation. Drawing on extensive overseas experience, he is also charged with handling the development and financing of infrastructure projects in the United States and in emerging and developing markets. Previously, Mr. Mir worked as an associate at Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft.

Mr. Mir, who attributes his success to hard work and commitment, became involved in his profession because of his fascination with the law and the experience he gained working in developing countries. He received a bachelor of arts in philosophy and urban studies in 2000 from New York University and a juris doctorate in law at Georgetown University Law Center.
