/24-7PressRelease/ - EDMONTON, AB, CANADA, September 01, 2006 ~ Family Productions Inc. is gearing up for another exciting, venue-packed Edmonton Woman's Show, which will take place on October 14th and 15th at Northlands AgriCom in Edmonton, Alberta, and Canadian suspense author Jackson Carter will once again be participating in the popular Authors' Row.

Authors' Row is a row of booths featured at the Show, consisting of authors of diverse genres and topics. There is virtually something for everyone. Authors' Row is organized, in conjunction with Family Productions staff, by Edmonton mystery author, Cheryl Kaye Tardif. This fall's Row will be the fourth time for Tardif and will feature a total of seven local area authors, who will be autographing and selling their books just in time for Christmas.

One of these authors is Jackson Carter, who writes Canadian suspense thrillers. "Participating in the EWS allows me the opportunity to meet energetic readers and murder mystery fans," says Carter. "The highest percentage of fictional murder mystery readers is females between the ages of 30 and 55."

Carter's novel Sins in the Name of the Father, a frank novel about murder and religion examines how far someone is willing to go to have their cause accepted by society. His latest novel, Bull, explores a fictional conspiracy theory involving the intentional infection of Canada's beef by the American government.

Jackson Carter is currently working on a non-fiction story sports story called The Last Season and a fictional novel for a US literary agent called The New Plague upon America. He was also involved in a fundraiser with A.F.T.E.R. Canada, (Authors For Tragic Event Relief), which raised funds after the 2004 tsunami in Asia.
