She previously worked in Citibank divisions in Latin America, Asia and the U.S. She has served on the Executive Council of the Canadian Bankers Association, chaired the foreign Bank Executive Committee, and in 2009 was named one of Canada's Most Powerful Women by the Women's Executive Network.

Ms. DeVita holds a B.S. from St. John's University in New York and is a graduate of the CEO Certificate program at Wharton-KMA in Seoul, South Korea. Recently, she earned the Institute of Corporate Directors certification from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
