Oetzi3300 Releases New "OTZ1-Troop Boot"

Oetzi3300 has just released its Fall/Winter 2010 footwear collection. We introduce the new OTZ1-Troop Boot.

MALIBU, CA, November 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Inspired by the past and crafted with today in mind, the OeTZI3300 Fall/Winter collection is now available online at www.Oetzi3300.com and at select independent retail partners across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.

Designed from our glass house green shed in Malibu, California, we present the much awaited OTZ1-Troop boot. Styled after the classic icons worn by the Special Forces, this new style has been described as the most comfortable and flexible boot on the market by our expert wear testers.

The 1.8mm thick, 18% oil content leather is as clean and natural as it gets! This 100% vegetable re-tanned leather is the ultimate when it comes to cleaning up the leather environment. Not only does it feel good on the foot, it wears with charm through the harsh winter months.

The boot's unique internal sock membrane, common across our footwear styles, is coated with a Hydroguard water-resistant coating, which has been individually tested to make sure the boots keep you dry.

New materializations to our Core collection keep the OTZ1-Low and Chukka fresh this season with the same Mocha and Black oiled leathers used on our Troop boot with added leather lacers for a twist of New England heritage. To cap it off, we introduce a unique bomber leather with the OTZ1-Low that will wear and crack to the beat of your stomp and only get better with time.

Our Cork Comfort Technology is carried across the entire collection with our unique CORKfit system. This compound provides a firm ride that gradually conforms to the shape of the user's feet with the unique anti-microbial properties of cork-reducing bacterial build up, allowing you to wear the shoes with or with-out socks. This anatomical design footbed is made from cork and recycled rubber, and is lined with a suede leather cover.

Made for an all day, everyday adventure, OeTZI3300 will be proud to take you globe trotting through the lows and highs of our multicultural metropolis.

You can find our new boots at www.Oetzi3300.com or at select independent retail partners across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.

About Oetzi3300: The inspiration for Oetzi3300 shoes was born after the discovery of a mummy found in 1991 in the Otztal Alps, on the border between Austria and Italy. The prehistoric man named "Otzi," has been carbon dated to 3300 B.C.

Otzi was found wearing nothing more than the basic essentials he needed for survival: gear for protection and warmth, as well as a unique pair of shoes. Otzi's shoes were simple, yet functional. The soles of his shoes were made of bearskin. Deer hide was used for the top panels and a netting made of tree bark. Soft grass went around the foot and in the shoe which functioned like modern socks.

OeTZI3300 has re-mastered these basic essentials from the past in a fresh and relevant way. Our gear, from footwear to apparel, is environmentally responsible and was created with the same understated complexities that run through Otzi's DNA, promoting the art of well being.

A unique unisex shoe collection, Oetzi3300's footwear consists of sneakers, mocs, boots, and slip-ons available in suede, leather and canvas. The footwear are crafted using top grain Napa leathers and oiled suedes, and an insulating, yet breathable stretch inner sock liner. Our Cork Comfort Technology cork footbed is designed for comfort using our unique CORKfit system, gradually molding to the individual footscape. The antimicrobial footbed combined with our soft suede cover, provides an unparalleled walking experience. The rubber compound used in our sole is molded into an anti-slip tread design that complements everyday needs from the highs and lows of our multicultural metropolis to the many trails that path our majestic planet.
