Columbus Metropolitan Library Thanks Voters for Passage of Issue 4

Columbus Metropolitan Library's Issue 4 passed by a 2-to-1 margin in the November 2 election.

COLUMBUS, OH, November 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thanks to the voters in Franklin County, Columbus Metropolitan Library's Issue 4 passed by a nearly 2-to-1 margin in the election Tuesday, November 2.

"We are truly grateful to the people in the central Ohio community for supporting Issue 4," Executive Director Patrick Losinski said. "This investment in our library system allows us to continue providing the services that people have come to expect from us. Our Homework Help Centers, Job Help Centers, materials and especially our expertise and customer service are valuable to the community and the passage of this levy is a terrific reminder of the confidence the community has in us."

Columbus Metropolitan Library plans to restore library hours in January to what they were before changes were made last year in response to large state funding cuts.
