Judith M. Bogart Recognized for Excellence in Long-Term Health Care

Judith Bogart is pursuing an Associate of Science in nursing from Luzerne County Community College



    /24-7PressRelease/ -- ORANGEVILLE, PA, January 3, 2011, Judith M. Bogart, LPN, Charge Nurse for Orangeville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in long-term health care.

With 16 years of experience as the charge nurse for Orangeville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Ms. Bogart has developed an expertise in dementia and Alzheimer patient care. On a daily basis, she provides medications and treatments to her patients, and ensures their safety. Further, she oversees three aides and assists them with charting patients. Aside from nursing, Ms. Bogart is a writer with two poems, "Hayley, My Angel" and "He Lives," published through the International Poets Society.

Ms. Bogart is pursuing an Associate of Science in nursing from Luzerne County Community College, following her receipt of a general equivalency diploma. In 1993, she became a licensed practical nurse. Ms. Bogart was honored by the International Society of Poets with the Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Award. In the future, she intends to become a registered nurse and seek work as a visiting nurse.

Orangeville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center is a 120-resident facility that provides a full range of nursing and therapy services. It offers individualized treatments from food menus and counseling services, to activities and discharge planning. The center is located near Bloomsburg and Berwick, Penn., and less than an hour from the larger metropolitan areas of Wilkes-Barre, Scranton and Williamsport.
