Latest Technologies for Corrections to be Revealed at June National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center Conference

Registration is now open for the 12th Annual Innovative Technologies for Corrections Conference, hosted by the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) June 12-14, 2011 at the JW Marriott, Indianapolis, IN.



    DENVER, CO, February 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Registration is now open for the 12th Annual Innovative Technologies for Corrections Conference, hosted by the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC) June 12-14, 2011 at the JW Marriott, Indianapolis, IN.

According to Joe Russo, Director of the NLECTC - Corrections Technology Center of Excellence, the conference will provide participants with a unique opportunity to learn from their colleagues about the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies, to get a glimpse at technologies on the horizon and to network with technology providers and fellow practitioners.

"Technology to assist correctional agencies in their mission performance is expanding rapidly. This conference brings together a diverse group of practitioners, developers and experts from across the country. What brings them to this conference is their common interest in new technology and to share lessons learned about selecting, implementing and evaluating technology in the correctional setting," says Russo.

WHO ATTENDS THIS CONFERENCE?
200 professionals from all areas of community and institutional corrections. Attendees are typically administrators, supervisors and line staff from Federal, State and local agencies with responsibility for and/or strong interest in learning about technology's role in corrections. Practitioners from all across the country participate in this conference; last year 40 different states and 4 countries outside the U.S. were represented.
