Taking place on Friday April 15th and Saturday April 16th, the event is suitable for youngsters aged three and above.

Sergei Prokofiev's famous tale, written by the Russian composer in 1936, will be brought to life by the Sea Legs puppet theatre company.

Audience members can follow chief puppeteer Rob as he makes a journey into deepest Russia and meets characters such as young Peter and his grandfather, the supercilious cat, the silly duck, the quick-witted redbird and, of course, the wolf.

Performances will begin at 14:30 BST on both days, with tickets priced at GBP7 for adults and GBP5 for children.

Family tickets, which provide entry for two adults and two youngsters, are available for GBP20.

As well as the 60-minute running time, the show will include a 15-minute 'meet the puppets' session for all attendees.

The Norwich Puppet Theatre features a 185-seat auditorium and is located within five minutes of the city's Anglia Square shopping centre.
