The American musician's show on Monday June 27th will be one of six UK dates arranged to promote So Beautiful or So What, his latest studio album.

Fans can look forward to hearing a collection of songs from the 69-year-old's illustrious career, which began in the late 1950s when he teamed up with Art Garfunkel.

After releasing acclaimed albums such as Sounds of Silence and Bridge Over Troubled Water with his musical partner, Simon went on to enjoy further success as a solo artist.

His 1986 LP Graceland was widely acclaimed for combining world music influences with classic songwriting, as well as introducing South African vocal group Ladysmith Black Mambazo to a global audience.

Simon is due to appear in Bournemouth with his gifted band, which includes guitarist Vincent Nguini, percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras.

Tickets for the show are available online, priced between GBP50 and GBP65.
