Sukhi's Gourmet Indian Foods Awarded for Korma Curry Sauce

Sukhi's Gourmet Indian Foods' Korma Curry Sauce was selected as a Silver Finalist in the Outstanding Cooking Sauce or Flavor Enhancer category of the NASFT sofi Awards Competition.



    BURLINGTON, VT, May 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- For the fourth year in a row, Sukhi's Gourmet Indian Foods' proudly announces one of their products within their growing line of authentic, all-natural Indian cuisine was named as a Silver Finalist in the 2011 National Association of the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) sofi Awards Competition.

Often compared to as the "Oscars of the food industry", sofi Awards recognize innovation and excellence in specialty foods and are a coveted industry honor. This year there was a record 1,657 entries across 33 award categories, and Sukhi's Korma Curry Sauce was selected as a finalist in the Outstanding Cooking Sauce or Flavor Enhancer category. Gold winners will be selected at the NASFT Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington D.C. and announced in a special ceremony hosted by famed chef Cat Cora.

Described as creamy, warm and the ultimate Indian comfort food, Korma Curry Sauce is based on a traditional recipe that includes cashews and spices and is part of Sukhi's Home Chef line. This line, which includes a variety of meticulously prepared sauces, spice mixes and chutneys, makes it easy for the everyday chef to create palate-pleasing Indian meals in less than 15 minutes.
