Hieb added that home ownership opportunities at Mountain House are expanding, with the May 21 grand opening of Americana by Meritage Homes. In June Standard Pacific Homes will unveil their model homes for Montalcino. Americana and Montalcino join Shea Homes' 3 neighborhoods of Antigua, Campania and Esplanade, where active sales continue.

Home shoppers will thus have choices from among 24 designs in these five single-family neighborhoods. Pricing ranges from the $200,000s to the $400,000s, for floorplans of approximately 1,870 to 3,664 square feet of living space.

Mountain House is a thriving new town east of Livermore, California. America's historic small towns inspired the master-planned community design, which include a thoughtful diversity of housing and pedestrian links that connect friends and neighbors with their larger community.

Some 750 acres of reserved open space highlight Mountain House. Established amenities include five parks, three state-of-the-art K-8 schools and a library. Today's Mountain House has four villages. At completion, Mountain House will include 10 villages, additional K-8 schools, a high school, and a Town Center with shopping, entertainment, and dining.

Village Lifestyle--The village-style neighborhoods of Mountain House offer an appealing mix of home sizes and architectural styles, and each village has a unique personality. Shade trees, classic lampposts and park benches evoke the sense of small towns of old.

Schools--Quality education at Questa starts at Questa Elementary, a centrally located K-8 school. Part of the Lammersville Elementary School District, Questa Elementary is designed to serve 750 to 850 students. Part of the "100% Celebration" tour route, the school is a state of the art facility, enhanced by an adjacent park.

Parks--Mountain House parks give residents multiple places to enjoy recreational and leisure time, structured sports programs, picnics and diverse gatherings. Playgrounds, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, lighted tennis courts, bocce courts, picnic areas and biking and walking paths are among park amenities, and most parks also include multi-purpose fields.

"Our '100% Celebration' showcases all that Mountain House offers to families who want more than a new house," said Hieb, "As some 3,000 residents can tell you, this is the place to settle in, put down roots and enjoy family, friends and community."

From the Bay Area, take the I-580 past Livermore. Exit Mountain House Parkway. Follow signs to the 100% Celebration event parking.

Mountain House is served by the Mountain House Community Services District (MHCSD). The developer of Questa Mountain House is Shea Mountain House LLC.
