RoomBette La French Maid has been sighted in Alaska. Lucky the Ladybug turned up in Hawaii. Roor the Tiger migrated to Australia and Spotty Leopard to New Zealand. The globalization of the RoomBud has just begun.

The founders of myRoomBud have experienced almost as much of the world as the RoomBuddies themselves. myRoomBud and RobotShop Inc. ( in Canada have partnered to help the adoption of RoomBuds in Canada. Tyler, the senior co-founder at age 15 and Niles, 12, have the experience of being guest lecturers at the Boston University MBA program. The founders of myRoomBud have met with the founders of iRobot. The RoomBud costumes have appeared in newspapers including the Boston Globe and USA Today and have been focused in the book, "Hacking Roomba" by Tod E. Kurt ( The RoomBud crew brushed robot greatness while conversing with BattleBot Super Heavyweight champion Donald Hutson ( and swapping experiences with Daniel H. Gates Elementary School PTO auction in Acton, MA to help raise money for the school.

"We have had an awesome first year in business and are excited to see what happens now," said Tyler Smith, co-founder of myRoomBud. "myRoomBud is almost a dream. Who could have imagined that four kids could start a company and sell their products all over the world." Isabelle Smith, 10, another co-founder of myRoomBud added, "It's a lot of hard work to keep up the orders but everyone works together, and with some help from our mom and dad, we get it all done." The hard work has paid off for the four siblings as myRoomBud continues to grow. New RoomBud costumes are being developed and do not be surprised to see a new line of costumes in the near future. "And remember," said Griffin Smith, 7, the youngest co-founder of myRoomBud, "No More Naked Roombas!"
