ZOI Interactive Technologies Moves Corporate Headquarters to Downtown Nashville

ZOI Interactive Technologies, Inc., leading developers of web-based, interactive, advertiser-supported content, join the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Nashville Technology Council in announcing the relocation of ZOI's corporate headquarters from Las Vegas, Nevada to Nashville, Tennessee.

/24-7PressRelease/ - NASHVILLE, TN, December 03, 2006 - ZOI is in the final stages of its acquisition of Lebanon, Tennessee based Tournament Games, Inc. www.tournamentgames.com, the longest-running online skill games website. "Our ties to Nashville are deep, and the choice is logical for us," said Chief Executive Officer Michael Calderone, an advertising industry veteran with over 20 years of success on the cutting-edge of the estimated $300 billion advertising market. A plurality of ZOI's early investors are also Nashville-based.

ZOI recently signed a lease at Cummins Station, a premier building in Downtown Nashville. With 16 current full-time employees at what has been a branch office focusing on technology development in Nashville, ZOI plans to relocate its Las Vegas corporate staff and employees at Tournament Games to its 16,000-square-foot facility in Cummins Station. Chief Operating Officer Safa Homayoon said the office space will accommodate future growth as ZOI "expands development, secures sales and moves into production."

"This relocation is significant for many reasons," said Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell. "It's a headquarters operation. It's a technology-based business. It's a company with Nashville ties. And it's a company that reflects the entrepreneurial spirit that has produced some of the greatest companies and brands in America."

Ralph Schulz, president and CEO of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, said recruiting the overall corporate function of ZOI was a win for Nashville. "Recruiting this type of industry to Nashville is the best type of relocation in my book. High-paying jobs. Smart people. And a vision for growth. I think they'll do well here," Schulz said.

Chief Technology Officer Wayne Ramprashad, a former chief architect at AOL, said being in Nashville provides ZOI with a competitive advantage over technology companies in other cities, since the turnover rate is very low in Nashville and a majority of development work is in healthcare or on backend systems. "Programmers like to work with the latest technologies and on projects that their friends and families can feel and interact with. ZOI gives them both in a Silicon Valley-like start up environment, but without the outrageous cost of living of the Bay Area."

Nashville Technology Council President Jeff Costantine concurred with Ramprashad's assessment. "High-tech companies want to be where the right environment and infrastructure exist to expand and prosper, be accessible to a great workforce and be part of a community that fosters and promotes Technology and Innovation. ZOI will find that here."
