Jagged Peak Appoints Ron Surfield Vice President of Professional Services

Most recently heading up eCommerce and online marketing for Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting Systems (TBS), Ron will lead Jagged Peak's Professional and IT Services teams, which include project managers, business analysts, solution architects, network engineers, software developers and quality assurance specialists. In this new role, he will be responsible for ongoing enhancements to Jagged Peak's EDGE eCommerce platform and delivery of client solutions.

Prior to joining Jagged Peak, Ron was Senior Director of eMarketing and eCommerce at TBS, supporting the broadcasting company's premier web properties, including CNN.com, CartoonNetwork.com, NASCAR.com, NBA.com and TBS.com among many others. He oversaw product strategies and execution for the company's online marketing, email marketing, user registration/profile, shopping carts, billing engine, data warehouse, user LTV analytics and custom reporting platforms.

While at TBS, Ron's team developed ground-breaking features such as CNN's innovative profile integration with Facebook, CartoonNetwork's FusionFall subscription online game, and the NBA's LeaguePass Broadband product.

With a career spanning more than two decades, Ron has worked for Internet giants EarthLink and MCI WorldCom. He has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he received a bachelor's degree in computer science.
