Brain Potential Institute Now Offering Second Summer Brain-Training Session

New program will begin mid-July to help students before school begins.

MAGNOLIA, TX, July 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brain Potential Institute announced today it is offering a mid-season treatment program to help students overcome learning problems, memory loss, and lack of attention and concentration prior to the start of the upcoming school year.

Most of the institute's participants experience symptoms of or have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, or central auditory processing issues. Brain Potential Institute's Genius in Training program takes full advantage of the process that creates new pathways in the brain, also known as neurogenesis. This brain-training program is quickly gaining ground as a leading treatment for these neurological deficiencies.

With one-on-one cognitive trainers implementing the program, Brain Potential Institute has earned a reputation for making a significant difference in its students' listening skills, learning abilities and multitasking capabilities. Its goal in offering a mid-summer program is to help as many children and teens as possible during the months when there are no school demands. This will make it much easier for them to face the challenges in the upcoming school year.

The Brain Potential Institute Genius in Training program averages approximately 72 hours of intensive brain training per student. Nearly all that complete the program leave with a rewired, well-functioning brain that is highly receptive to learning. Many of the participants of Brain Potential Institute experience a three-grade level advancement and record increases in their IQ's, some by as much as 35 points. Up until now, the ability to raise an IQ by this large amount was unheard of. Achievement testing and Standardized IQ testing verifies and validates this extraordinary success.

"People are beginning to realize they can do something about such neurological deficiencies as problems in reading and writing, difficulties focusing or paying attention, inability to stay on task and other barriers that are so pertinent to maintaining good grades in school," said Jane Davis, P.T., MSHP and CEO, Brain Potential Institute.

To make this program available to anyone that speaks English, regardless of locality, the Genius in Training program also is offered online, in which a cognitive trainer works one-on-one via Skype. The company launched its VOLT - virtual online training last year when Davis, whose thirty-year experience assisting people to overcome learning problems by improving focus, memory, central auditory processing, visual perception, concentration, logic, and motor coordination, deemed it necessity for the program to become available globally. The VOLT program mirrors the brain exercises employed onsite at Brain Potential Institute's corporate office in Magnolia, Texas.

"We are experiencing a huge increase in people signing up for our VOLT program because it's easy to fit into schedules and participants have the benefit of working with a trainer online in their own home, office, school, hospital or daycare facility," said Davis. "People from as far away as Australia and Great Britain are using the program with tremendous success."

Brain Potential Institute is located in Montgomery County, Texas. The majority of its students who receive onsite services live within the neighboring communities of Woodlands, Conroe, Montgomery, North Houston, Magnolia, Spring and Tomball.

Jane Davis, P.T., M.S.H.P founded Brain Potential Institute in 2002 as Kid Potential Inc. In 2010, when the company expanded its services to include teens, adults and seniors it was rebranded as Brain Potential Institute. The program accepts students ages 3 through 90. Brain Potential Institute's mission is to optimize through cognitive training, the human brain to reach its highest intellectual potential for best performance at school and work, and to preserve function at every age.
