Zoup! Fresh Soup Company to Open its Doors in Warrensville Heights

Quick-serve restaurant looks to continue feeding appetites in the local market with hundreds of award-winning soups.



    SOUTHFIELD, MI, July 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Powered by strong marketplace demand for healthy dining options, variety and convenience, Zoup! Fresh Soup Company franchisees Don and Pat Hoag recently signed a lease to open their second location in the Cleveland market. The new restaurant, which will be located in Harvard Park, at 4025G Richmond Road in Warrensville Heights, will be opening October 2011.

Already the hottest soup spot in Detroit, Mich., and a regional favorite throughout the Midwest and Northeast United States with 35 restaurants in nine states, Zoup! is developing in Cleveland as part of an aggressive local and international growth plan to expand its unique concept and menu.

"We have experienced tremendous success since opening our first location among community members who are seeking a healthy and affordable dining alternative," said Don Hoag. "Our new Zoup! restaurant will be centrally located and surrounded by a hospital, a large corporation and a community college. Zoup! features hundreds of award-winning soups with 12 rotating daily varieties, including at least one low-fat, vegetarian, dairy-free and spicy recipe. Using nothing but the finest and natural ingredients and no MSG and trans fats, Zoup! plans to serve up traditional favorites like Chicken Pot Pie and Lobster Bisque in addition to more unique soups like Mulligatawny, Cheeseburger Royale and Ginger Butternut Squash. Each order is served with a hunk of fresh baked bread. The menu also includes made-to-order salads and sandwiches.
