Egger developed the line after listening to the struggles a family friend experienced trying to find good tasting food that met specific nutritional guidelines. Working with former Dallas Cowboys chef Jeremy Womble, who struggles with Type 2 diabetes, Mr. Egger set his sights on eliminating the daily food frustrations faced by those living with diabetes. Meals to Live entrees range from 18g to 58g of carbohydrates, are high in fiber, and low in saturated fat, trans fat and sodium, which are important considerations for those living with diabetes as well as other consumers.
