Bold Earth Teen Adventures Adds Diversity With Teens From Over 50 Countries for Summer 2011

From New York to Kazakhstan, teens from across the world are coming together for life changing summer adventure trips.

GOLDEN, CO, September 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bold Earth Teen Adventures is seeing an increase in international interest for student travel as teens from outside the USA grew to represent 25% of their summer 2011 trips. International students are enrolling at a high rate, and this summer marks the first time that Bold Earth welcomed students from new countries including China, Japan, Korea, Iceland and Nigeria.

"Summer 2011 opened up Bold Earth to a new level of diversity that we're so proud of," said Abbott Wallis, President of Bold Earth. "Teens from all over the world are craving these rich experiences. They get to see other cultures, gain confidence, learn English, and create lifelong friendships with students from all over that they would've never met otherwise."

Both foreign and American students challenge themselves with Bold Earth's summer programs for students in the USA, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. The combination of community service, active adventure, friendship and small group travel makes Bold Earth camps for teens a unique experience.

International students from Brazil, Russia, Mexico, Egypt, Honduras and many other countries seek Bold Earth's summer programs for high school students to improve their English and enjoy the traditional American experience they see on television and read about in books. On all the trips for students, teens of all nationalities get to experience cultural nuances and learn about their peers' native countries first hand.

"My English is now much better than before thanks to the Bold Earth leaders and the teenagers who helped me," said Louis, a foreign student on the Bold West trip to the Western U.S. "I also discovered another culture and a huge big country thanks to the trip."

"I experienced so many things which are different from my country," said Amy, a foreign student on the Boot Saddle Paddle trip to the Western U.S. "For example, the food, the activities, the cultures, and definitely the friendship...so many things! In my country, maybe I won't have a chance to play such crazy and brave games. In my culture, our parents always try to protect us very carefully, so I've never played such crazy and happy outdoor games like this trip."

"I got to meet some amazing people, that I honestly will stay in contact with," said Jamie, an American teen on the Bold West trip. "Being able to sit between a kid from Belgium and a kid from Italy was an experience in itself. I learned a lot about their cultures and the way their society works as compared to the American one I'm used to. The memories I made on this trip are sincerely amazing."
